The Energy of Money and the Path to Abundance

The Nature of Energy

We are fundamentally energy, transcending the physical limitations of our bodies and minds. Money, too, is a form of energy; it is not merely a resource we accumulate or a commodity we possess. To truly grasp the depth of this concept, one must take the time to reflect on it.

The Biblical Connection

There is a poignant verse in the Bible stating that if you harbor grievances against someone, and you find yourself at the altar ready to offer your gift—your money—you should pause. First, seek reconciliation with your brother, and only then return to give your offering. For a long time, I struggled to comprehend this scripture. What connection could there possibly be between my emotions towards someone and the act of giving money?

Understanding Money as Energy

The answer lies in how we perceive money. If we see it as something external to ourselves, the scripture’s message will remain elusive. However, if we recognize that we are energy and that money is also energy, a different understanding emerges. When you give money, you are not merely handing over physical currency; you are exchanging energy. If you’re upset while making this exchange, what you’re offering is not just a sum of money, but the energy of your discontent as well. It’s crucial to understand that these energies are intertwined—money is not a detached, lifeless object, but a vibrant transfer of energy.

The Principle of Sowing and Reaping

What we cannot see—the essence of our energy—will determine what we receive in return. This is the principle of sowing and reaping: if you sow seeds of anger, resentment, or victimhood, those are the very outcomes you will reap into your life. When you grasp that money is energy—an extension of your own being—you will find that you are more inclined to give willingly and wholeheartedly. The energy behind your giving is far more significant than the mere dollar bills you exchange.

The Energy Behind Payments

Consider the energy you project when you pay bills. Are you frustrated, feeling like a victim of high costs and unfair charges? That energy of victimhood will only attract more circumstances where you feel victimized. The universe reflects back to you exactly what you put out, adhering to the concept of energetic reciprocity.

Metaphysical Insights

This profound understanding did not come to me through traditional religious teachings but through the lens of metaphysics. The Bible is rich with truths that many overlook because they approach its teachings as mere rules to follow, rather than as deep, life-altering revelations. When you interpret these scriptures through the mindset that money is an external entity, you miss the transformative insights they offer.

The Kingdom Within

Ultimately, there is nothing outside of ourselves that holds value. The Kingdom of Heaven dwells within us. If everything we need is inherently within, why would we seek it outside ourselves? This truth is not merely an intellectual realization; it is a deeply rooted revelation that resonates within your spirit, surpassing ordinary understanding.

The Principle of Oneness

The principle of Oneness teaches us that we are interconnected with the universe and with one another. When we give to someone in need, we are, in essence, giving to ourselves. This is echoed in the teachings of Jesus, who said that to give to the poor is to give to Him, and to visit those in prison is to visit Him. We are all part of a collective existence, so when you support a company or service, you are also investing in your own well-being. The energy with which you contribute to others will dictate the energy you receive in return.

Embracing a New Perspective

I recognize that this perspective may seem challenging for many to grasp, and there will undoubtedly be those who respond with their preconceived notions about money. Yet, once you receive this revelation, you become empowered and can cultivate a life of abundance in all its forms.

The Ongoing Journey

I am still on this journey myself and strive to break free from my ingrained beliefs about money. The lessons I learned in my childhood have shaped my current perspective, and I often find myself reverting to those old thought patterns. I explain how to break those patterns in my course Why Am I Here? However, each time I catch myself attempting to “make” money or giving with a reluctant heart, it feels like a victory in my quest for deprogramming. I continuously remind myself that “I AM” everything I need within me. This understanding is liberating and a step toward truly transforming my relationship with money and energy.
